I’ve had some great days in my life. But not many of those great days can compete with beach days, especially the ones spent frolicking along the shores with my family. We got to add one more of those great days to the list last week on our visit to Oceanside. We dug our toes in the sand, let the California waves chase after us, reminisced about the earlier days of my life when we lived down the street and filled our bellies full of the best fish and chips in San Diego county. It was, well, great. So great that I decided not to leave San Diego. Ever. But then Honey looked at me with those bright blues, the ones I just can’t say no to, and he promised me a quick return. So, I’ll be seeing you again soon, San Diego (because I just don’t forget promises like that).
