All About Myself

How do I turn my frowns around?...
I make collages. All about me.
Then I usually treat myself to a nice dinner and something sweet.

Hiding in the Hole

Mission accomplished.
I've spent this weekend genuinely admiring the majestic beauty of the Tetons and enjoying every moment I've spent in snowy Jackson Hole, WY. Thanks, Winter. You're not so bad. I needed that.

Winter Days with Sunny Blue Skies...

Today is one of those days. I actually enjoy these days, mostly when I'm looking out a window. However, do not let the sun's bright rays fool you, it's like 10 degress out there.
I'm seriously beginning to think that each winter day is taking years off of my life that could be better spent on the shores of some spectacular beach. The clock is ticking....
Last weekend, I frolicked along Mission Beach in a sun dress and flats. It was still January, yet I seemed to forget everything about winter and I was just fine without it. The ten extra pounds I've managed to gain this winter have mildly helped with the frigid winds of northern Utah, but January in San Diego is still January and the coastal breeze forced me to drop $25 on a stylin' San Diego hoodie, but whats $25 compared to $125 spent on a NorthFace that is far from stylin' and can't be worn as pajamas AND day attire, not that I'm doing that... oh wait. Anyway, slowly I'm convincing myself that three seasons are much better than four especially because a three season wardrobe can be worn almost year round. *sigh*
Someday my sun will shine year round and the constant sound of flapping flip flops will serenade my steps. Until then I'm going to do my best to try to appreciate the few things I can about winter. First stop is Jackson Hole this weekend with my cute boyfriend. Perhaps something colder will make my SLC grass seem greener. We shall find out!
